The Center for Open Science has announced the “Preregistration Challenge.” They will be awarding $1,000 to 1,000 researchers who publish the results of preregistered research in journals that is a signatory to the Transparency and Openness Promotion(TOP) guidelines. Political Behavior has signed on to this and articles published in Political Behavior are eligible. If you are interested, you should take a close look at the COS description. Obviously, any paper will have to undergo the standard peer review process at Political Behavior. But given the time restrictions on the challenge, I will do everything I can as editor to expedite the process. If you have questions, please let me know.
